Although this conference will be on October 13, 2007, there are still spots available for registration.

The organizers of Ontario LinuxFest let us know that there is still time to register for this popular open source conference. The one-day event will be happening on October 13, 2007 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm in Toronto, Ontario. It will be held at the Toronto Congress Centre.

First and foremost the Ontario Linux Fest is a conference designed to present compelling topics of interest to users of Linux and Open Source software. These topics span a range of interests from technical to motivational, educational to organizational and social to legal. Attendees will find out what is happening in the Open Source world from the people directly involved.

Linux Fest is also a social event. With a welcome party and after party there will be lots of time to network and socialize with like-minded enthusiasts. It's a great event to catch up with old friends, meet project contributors and develop new business relationships.

If you're in the area, you should definitely check this out - registration is only $40.00 ($20 for students), so you have no real reason to miss this event. You can visit the Ontario LinuxFest site for a look at the complete schedule, to get more info about the event, or to register.
